A record number of entries have been sent in for the 2004 National Recycling Awards. More than 210 have been received across the 10 different categories for the sixth year of the event.
Entries will be judged by a panel from the industry and chaired by MRW group editor Jane Rayner.
The 10 categories cover work carried out by local authorities, the community sector and industry.
Publisher Steve Crowhurst said: The National Recycling Awards are the established premier awards event in this industry. The level of entries is a reflection that the Oscars of the recycling world is held in such high esteem across all sectors of the industry.
Winners will be announced at a gala dinner on November 2 at Telford International Centre.
