Recycled Polymers in liquidation

Recycled Polymers has gone into liquidation 16 months after it started.

The Birmingham-based business recycled plastics in a granulation process to produce pellets that saved around 35% of the cost of virgin materials.

However the company directors passed a resolution to voluntarily wind up the company at the end of last month.

Recycled Polymers was set up in October 2011 with financial backing from the directors including managing director Grant Gerry, right, and HSBC Commercial Finance and Close Brothers.
