Recycled stand at RWM

Biffa is raising the stakes at this years Recycling and Waste Management exhibition by building its stand from recycled materials.

The waste-management giant has used recycled, reused and sustainably sourced materials to build its base at the National Exhibition Centre.

Next weeks Birmingham event, which has more than 300 exhibitors, will be the fourth time Biffa has had a presence at the show.

Biffas stand features recyclable flooring made from chipped wood decorated with water-based paints and side panels made from recycled plastic milk containers.

Biffa marketing executive Liz Fenlon said: We have taken everything into account down to the smallest detail. Even the bags in which we supply literature have been made from jute.

Where we havent been able to use recycled materials, weve used materials from sustainable sources or environmentally friendly products.
