Recycling's lottery win

Two community enterprises have received funding from the National Lottery to increase recycling in their areas.

Creation Recycling was granted £299,837 to launch a weekly kerbside collection to 12,000 homes in Rotherham. And the Recycling Consortium was given £95,078 to raise awareness of bring banks for residents in Bristol who dont receive kerbside collections.

The National Lotterys Community Recycling and Economic Development (CRED) fund will give out £36.5 million by 2007.
