Retirement for Garth Ward

The Salvation Army Trading Companys (SATC) recycling unit has reached a milestone, with the retirement of Garth Ward and his wife Christine, after 16 years of exemplary service.

Together they have contributed much to the development of the Salvation Army Recycling Unit and both will be greatly missed. Naturally we want to acknowledge their contribution, not just to our organisation, but to the textile recycling industry as a whole, the SATC said in a statement.

Many of Garths responsibilities will be assumed by National recycling coordinator Paul Ozanne, who will work closely with operations manager Trevor Shaw to provide the best coverage of the whole of the United Kingdom.
