Rick Hindley to leave Novelis

Novelis Recycling national manager Rick Hindley is to leave the aluminium recycling company.

He will be joining waste management company Waste Recycling Group (WRG) as part of the senior management team working on local authority private finance initiative (PFI) contract bids.

Hindley will utilise his experience by contributing to the development of the recycling element of the contract bids.

He said: "I will be sad to leave Novelis and the aluminium industry, having been involved with aluminium can recycling since it was launched in the UK in 1989.

"I am however, looking forward to the opportunity of widening my experience and taking on new challenges."

He will continue to work for Novelis for the next three months before joining WRG.
