RWM 2012 kicks off

The eyes of the UK waste and recycling industries will be on the NEC near Birmingham over the next three days for the 2012 RWM in partnership with CIWM show.

Key speakers over the next three days include physicist and TV personality Brian Cox; former spin doctor for Tony Blair, Alistair Campbell; former environment secretary Lord Deben and James Woudhuysen, professor of forecasting and innovation at De Montfort University, Leicester.


With more 700 exhibitors booked and an expected 14,000 visitors, there is an emphasis this year on new products. For the first time, there is an Innovation Trail, featuring 20 companies who have recently developed an innovative product or service for the market.

There are two associated shows on at the same time: the Energy Event and the Renewables Event

MRW reporters at at the show throughout the three days and the MRW website will be regularly updated with the latest developments.
