Organisers of RWM in partnership with CIWM exhibition have announced a series of new features for this year’s show.
This year’s resource and waste management event will include a “materials village” area dedicated to key materials associations and reprocesses. Organisers say they have already sold 75% of the indoor space for exhibitors.
The show’s website has also been redesigned with new branding and to allow exhibitors to upload product details, press releases and video footage.
The trade show, organised by the Chartered Institute for Wastes Management and Emap, publishers of MRW, will take place at the NEC, Birmingham from 11 to 13 September.
High-profile speakers already confirmed for the Leader’s Theatre, include Alastair Campbell, the former director of communications for Tony Blair, and the TV physicist Brian Cox.
RWM managing director Alison Jackson said: “Following the success of the first event last year, which brought together Emap’s RWM show and CIWM and ESA’s Futuresource show, the outlook is very buoyant.
“A survey of 2011 attendees found that 53% do not intend to visit any other event in 2012 and 97% had direct responsibility for buying decisions, with 71% actually making a purchasing decision at the event.”
