RWM website launched

The website promoting this year’s RWM with CIWM event has been launched and one of the key speakers is genetic specialist Lord Robert Winston.

RWM is again being held at the NEC outside Birmingham and boasts more than 750 exhibitors during the three-day event from 10-12 September.

Lord Robert Winston

Lord Winston is included in the initial least of main speakers which will eventually number 150. He is Professor of Science and Society and Emeritus Professor of Fertility Studies at Imperial College. He is also chairman of the House of Lords Select Committee on Science and Technology.

Others include:

  • Dieter Helm, an economist specialising in utilities, infrastructure, regulation and the environment in Britain and Europe.
  • Andy Pag, who spent two years driving around the world powered by used cooking oil in an old school bus he salvaged from a scrap yard. He also organised the ‘Grease to Greece’ rally for cars fuelled on restaurant scraps.
  • Tristan Stuart, the winner of the international environmental award, the Sophie Prize 2011, for his fight against food waste.
