Sculptor creates recycled Eco Dragon

Watch out it may breathe on you! This intriguing sculpture has been produced by sculptor Chris Pilmore.
It is made from 99% recyclable materials apart from the nuts and the bolts.  The materials are mainly collected from a farm. Tractor inner tubes and old bike tyres cover a frame of reclaimed plywood and the wings are made from old pond liners.

Pilmore said: Hopefully it will make people realise what can be done out of recycled materials. Other sculptors may turn their nose up at using recycled materials but I cant see the point of buying new materials when there is so much lying about. I hate wasting anything and love using recycled materials.

The showpiece featured at this years Glastonbury festival and the Royal Bath and West Show.
