Sector stars of the future identified at RWM

RWM 2015 is identifying the top 25 newcomers who are challenging the way the recycling industry works and using trailblazing initiatives.

The competition, aimed at young entrepreneurs, has been seeking out those who have introduced new recycling practices within the past five years and helped to transform their organisations and the industry.

Russell Bacon, portfolio director for environment at i2i, said: “As part of RWM’s mission to drive industry growth and innovation, we need to inspire and support a new generation of leaders. The rising stars campaign celebrates the dynamic character of this industry.”

The competition will culminate in three finalists being selected to present to a panel of judges at the show. The winner will receive a valuable CIWM training package and funding towards their initiative worth more than £2,000.

This year’s RWM with CIWM exhibition will be taking place at the NEC Birmingham on 15-17 September.
