Severnside announces move into construction

Recycling and waste management company Severnside Recycling has announced its move into the construction sector to meet the growing need for sustainable service providers.

Traditionally operating in the retail and paper industries, Severnside wants to bring its sustainable “no landfill” approach to waste management to construction projects.

The firm said this will enable construction projects to recycle greater amounts of waste through one partner. The construction sector has tended to seek recycling options on a project by project basis, depending on locality, which is an approach that takes time to research and implement.

Severnside said its national operations allow it to identify the most sustainable options, helping construction companies to not only divert more waste from landfill, but also reduce the carbon footprint of projects.
