Recently voted sexiest male at The British Soap Awards, Fleeshman took time out from his busy filming schedule to pose on the set of Coronation Street to highlight the campaign and the need for young people to get involved in cleaning up their local communities.
He said: Young and old should care about the world we come into and the world we leave behind. Young people often feel powerless to change things in the world and I think that people need to see that a difference can be made in order to get involved.
Working in partnership with Community Service Volunteers (CSV), the Big Clean-Up aims to prove that through voluntary action individuals can make a huge difference to their communities and the world.
Other celebrities involved in the campaign include Anthony Worrall Thompson and X-Factor star Andy Abraham. A half-hour long documentary on the campaign will air on October 24 at 19.30.
