Taylor Group and Bigbelly join forces

Droitwich-based Egbert Taylor Group has taken over Bigbelly’s UK sales and operations teams.

Taylor Group, which includes UK waste management brands Taylor and Sellers, said that it expected the partnership to “drive growth for both brands”.

American firm Bigbelly’s smart waste and recycling system, a hi-tech bin, gathers, consolidates and analyses data from its collection stations.

Taylor Group chief executive, Brendan Murphy (pictured) said: “In today’s market, strategic partnerships represent an essential route to growth and development. Through our partnership with Bigbelly, we are combining tradition and heritage with technology in order to provide customers with a comprehensive, innovative and wide-reaching solutions portfolio.”

Bigbelly chief executive Jack Kutner said: “By coupling the strong Bigbelly customer base in the UK with the infrastructure and expertise of Egbert Taylor Group, together we can provide the framework necessary for Bigbelly to continue with the rapid increase in market share in the UK.”

Taylor Group confirmed it is a distribution agreement with Bigbelly USA. The Taylor Group has, in effect, become a re-seller.
