Tuned into recycling at the Grand Designs show

A wall of 40 discarded televisions was supplied by MDJ Light Brothers to spread a recycling and energy conservation message at the Grand Designs Live show last month.

Working and non-working televisions made up the display in the World Wildlife Fund for Nature- (WWF) sponsored interactive area.

The company was approached by show co-ordinator Blue Inc Events to provide sets for the WWF-sponsored area. As a processor of waste electrical and electronic equipment, the company collects and recycles thousands of PC monitors and televisions each month.
