Waste industry outsourcing and labour provider Smart Solutions recorded an £82m turnover for the 2014-15 financial year, which it said was a 41% increase on 2013-14.
The company, which is privately owned, declined to disclose its profit level.
Smart Solutions has in the past year opened new offices at Chester, Leicester and Norwich, doubled its training division to 40 staff, and bought the Leeds and Leicester-based specialist recruitment business Right Direction UK for an undisclosed sum.
Founder Nathan Bowles said: “This year, we have taken a major step forward in establishing ourselves as one of the market leaders in outsourced services as seen by the increase in our workforce and the expansion of the sectors we are now working in.”
In addition to waste, Smart Solutions works in the automotive, food, manufacturing, financial and professional services sectors.
