Two national reps leave LARAC

Two of the Local Authority Recycling Advisory Committee’s six national representatives have left the body.

Lee Marshall

Former chair Lee Marshall, right, will become technical director at Hyder Consulting, while principal policy adviser Andrew Craig has retired.

Kitran Eastman, senior waste officer at Chiltern District Council, and Gemma Clinton, service delivery team leader at Dorset Waste Partnership, will replace them as national reps.

LARAC Welsh rep Roger Mills will take on Craig’s duties as principal policy adviser.

A spokeswoman said that while it was sad to lose experienced staff, there were “new people coming through with good ideas”.
