The move represents another major step forward for VES operations in the commercial waste recycling market, with Hollands being a strong name in paper and cardboard recycling.
It will increase VES critical mass of paper and cardboard, with Hollands processing over 50,000 tonnes per annum.
Its operations are focused in the three key paper sectors of pulp-substitute, de-ink and board-making grades, with around 90% of its materials collected from commercial customers throughout the Midlands.
VES chief executive for the UK and Northern Europe Cyrille du Peloux said: This is a strategic acquisition representing a significant development in our drive for further growth and reinforcement of our position as a major player in the commercial waste recycling market.
All of the 25 employees at Hollands Darlaston base will be retained by VES.
