The activities of energy company Dalkia will be integrated in Veolia’s operations, the company has announced.
The ownership of Dalkia was split between Veolia and French energy giant EDF in a deal finalised in March.
As a result of the agreement, Veolia has acquired Dalkia International, which includes its UK operations.
Those activities have now been integrated in the waste management company’s business and Dalkia has adopted Veolia brand name.
Estelle Brachlianoff, Veolia’s senior executive vice president for UK and Ireland, said: “Bringing our energy arm, Dalkia, fully on board truly cements us as a team.
“We know this will be only a benefit to our customers now and going forward, as they will be open to a larger range of services helping them be more sustainable into the future”.
Dalkia provides energy management services to companies and the public sector.
