Viridor regional director John Viviani said that JWT was a quality local recycling and waste management business and offered good synergies with Viridor’s existing business in the North West.

He said: “The acquisition continues our investment in essential recycling and renewable energy services in the region, such as the construction of the Runcorn EfW facility alongside our advanced recycling facilities, helps us to meet the needs of local businesses which are looking to recycle more and to minimise the amount of waste they send to landfill.”
