Welsh beauty launches textiles campaign

Miss Wales has fronted the launch of a campaign to encourage people to support textile recycling.

Amy Guy put the glamour into Waste Awareness Wales' appeal for people to use their local charity shop.

The launch marked two years since Waste Awareness Wales was formed - this is traditionally known as a cotton anniversary.

Guy said: "You can find some real gems in your local charity shop, and I like to think that some of the items that I donate to charity will be given a new lease of life.

"It is good for the environment too and helps to preserve the beauty of Wales for future generations."
