WRAP joins Together

The Waste & Resources Action Programme (WRAP) has added its support to a UK climate change campaign dedicated to helping consumers go green.

Called Together, the campaign was set up a year ago and consists of business leaders, brands, Government departments, charities, development non-governmental organisations, community groups and trades unions.

WRAP chief executive Liz Goodwin said: Making it easier for consumers to cut waste and reduce their carbon footprint is at the heart of what WRAP does. That common bond with the Together campaign makes us natural partners.

The campaign is independently approved by international charity The Climate Group.

Other new partners that have recently joined the campaign include:

* Business in the Community
* Coca-Cola
* Warner Brothers
* MySpace
