WRAP's Ray Georgeson to take sabbatical

WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) has announced that its director of policy and evaluation, Ray Georgeson, will be taking an unpaid six month sabbatical from his post.

Using his time to travel around the world, he will finish at Christmas and return to his post at the beginning of July 2007. During his absence, WRAP director of construction and manufacturing Dr Liz Goodwin will be lead on policy matters, and chief finance officer Hugh Etheridge, will handle evaluation activities.

Chief executive Jennie Price said: Ray has been with WRAP since its inception, and has played a key role in the organisations achievements. We wish him well on his travels and look forward to his return in the summer of 2007.
