Kit: Dennis Eagle

What is your product?

Dennis Eagle’s new Elite 6 vehicle.

Why do you need it?

All heavy good vehicles registered after 31 December 2013 need to have a Euro 6 engine fitted as standard.  The Elite 6 meets this new European emissions standard.

How is it different?

Its added value and features - Dennis Eagle has invested in excess of £5-million developing new technologies and features for the Elite 6.

What benefits does it offer?

The engine, developed in close collaboration with Volvo, not only meets the higher cooling requirements of Euro 6 but also maximises fuel economy.

The vehicle retains its flat, walk-through floor with single step, low entry – a key benefit of previous Dennis Eagle models – and has a range of new standard features including a redesigned aerodynamic roof with LED beacons and running lights, integrated LED grill beacons, deeper side windows to give drivers better visibility of crews and members of the public and the very latest electronic stability and electronic braking systems.

There is also the option of including Loadsense – an integrated axle overload protection system.

What about maintenance?

The Elite 6 has enhanced features to help reduce maintenance costs, including an electronic braking system where brake wear is balanced between the wheels to optimise even brake pad wear.

How is it future-proofed?

The vehicle has new electronic control architecture in the cab and open CAN systems to ensure plug and play compliance.

How many have you sold and where?

We have a healthy order book for the vehicle.
