90% of material recycled

Spaleck mobile screening and separation technology

Terex Finlay 883+ Spaleck mobile screening and separation technology is powering through material at Tudor Griffiths Group (TGG) as the company reports a surge in recycling rates at its Wood Lane site in Shropshire.

TGG has made the investment in the plant, supplied by Finlay Central, to ensure it continues to hit high environmental performance targets. Almost 90%of incoming waste is now recycled.

Inert material brought to the site is fed by excavators into the 883+ Spaleck. The fines produced are used for landfill restoration, while the middle grade, at 75-20mm, goes through a density separator and picking station to be sold as clean aggregates. The +70mm oversize is put through a crusher.
