Baler cuts cardboard to landfill

Harrogate-based Techbuyer, which buys, refurbishes and then sells IT equipment, has recently invested in a waste baler from Riverside Waste Machinery, in an effort to continually reduce the amount of waste material it sends to landfill.

The RWM500 mill-size machine is being used to bale two tonnes a month of cardboard, which is then recycled.

The baler offers a 50-tonne press force, five-wire tying system and a powder coated finish, with a bale weight of up to 550kg.
