Baler used after review

With environmental accreditation becoming increasingly important, electronics services provider Chemigraphic undertook a waste management review with Compact & Bale to maximise the amount of material recycled and improve waste management.

The company had been keeping cardboard waste in skips but, according to facilities manager Graham Hill, it took up too much space.

After visiting the site, Compact & Bale found a solution in the Durapac CB5 baler, and Chemigraphic now receive rebates for its cardboard waste and benefits from a tidier site and reduced waste collection costs.

Hill added: “With recycled cardboard taking up much less space, our waste collections can be less frequent which means cost savings for us.”
