Buyers and sellers head to metals event

Visitors to this year’s Metals Recycling Event (MRE) will have the opportunity to meet face to face with a range of buyers, enabling them to secure the best price for their material.

The ‘Meet the Buyer’ Lounge opens on day two of the show and will play host to a variety of businesses – providing buyers with the chance to meet new suppliers and empowering sellers to get the best rates.

MRE, taking place on 11-12 July at the NAEC Stoneleigh, is the UK’s largest event dedicated to recyclers and collectors of scrap metal. Visitors will discover the latest equipment and innovation, network with more than 1,700 like-minded professionals and hear latest industry developments and guidance.

Confirmed exhibitors include Lefort, JCB, Hammel and Arjes, while the event’s headline partner is Blue Fuchs, supplier of the Fuchs range of material handlers, ZB Group metal shredders and Taurus balers.

The second day of the show is dedicated to international trade and exports, featuring a range of tailored conference sessions, networking opportunities and international representatives – promoting trade relations amid the ongoing landscape of Brexit.

In addition to live demos of big equipment including balers, shredders and material handlers, visitors can also take advantage of added extras including Business Doctors surgery, Jaguar Land Rover factory tours, 4x4 experiences, falconry displays and more.

MRE is co-located with the Complete Auto Recycling Show, an event dedicated to end-of-life vehicle recycling.
