Cardboard made ready for export to China

Mick George has made a £500,000 investment at its Ellington, Cambridgeshire site, in a Presona LP110 CH2 baler and feed conveyor, which will tackle the increasing amount of cardboard materials handled by the company.

The fully automatic LP series relies on compression to achieve the optimum bale, using 100% of power for compaction. This makes them up to 60% more energy efficient than comparable shear balers.

CH models are typically fed by a conveyor system, feature a Presona prepress and have a throughput capacity of up to 50 tonnes/hour. The LP110 can bale more than 30 tonnes/hour.

After a rigorous inspection process, Mick George has been certified by CCIC London to distribute cardboard to China.
