DriveAway range is extended

Iveco has extended its DriveAway ready-bodied vehicle range with a £11.5m investment. DriveAway is designed to help operators get vehicles on the road almost immediately because they need only liaise with their local dealer, instead of co-ordinating separately with bodybuilders and ancillary equipment providers.

Iveco now offers bodies for everything from construction, demolition and waste to general haulage and temperature controlled distribution. Available truck body types include boxes, curtains, dropsides, reefers, skip loaders, hook loaders, tippers,

tipper grabs and sweepers – on vehicles plated at up to 32 tonnes.

The existing DriveAway range of 7.5-tonne Eurocargo rigids with box, dropside and curtainside bodies from JC Payne has been extended, with customers now able to buy 12-tonne boxes and curtainsiders on both the standard and low-height 120EL Eurocargo chassis, with and without a tail-lift.

Iveco is also introducing 18-tonne Eurocargo rigids with curtainside bodywork and tuckaway tail-lifts, on a chassis featuring a hi-roof sleeper cab.

Other new models in the DriveAway range include 18-tonne Eurocargo skip loaders from a choice of three bodybuilder partners – Boughton, HIAB and Hyva – with the flexibility for additional customer-specified options to be added post-build.
