Fleet replacements offer improved safety

RiverRidge, the Northern Ireland waste management specialist, has taken delivery of seven Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3240k fitted with Boughton hook loaders from MBNI Truck & Van.

With a fleet across four sites in Derry-Londonderry, Belfast, Coleraine and Portadown, RiverRidge will use the latest arrivals to replace some of its older vehicles as part of a multi-million pound plan to develop its fleet.

The Arocs are fitted with a 320mm tunnel cab, offering one less step into the cab while keeping excellent overall visibility.

Tony Kirkpatrick, transport and logistics director at RiverRidge, said: “These vehicles offer reduced downtime, improved safety features, better fuel consumption, reduced engine emissions and increased driver comfort.”
