Forklift distribution deal

Aberdeen-based Bear Handling has recently been appointed a Hyundai forklift distributor.

One of Bear’s largest customers is RAM Tubulars, a provider of recycling services to the oil, gas and construction industries. RAM has recently taken delivery of its first Hyundai forklift: the 130D-9 diesel, which offers a 13,000kg load capacity.

The forklift performs critical operations for a minimum of eight hours a day. Its tight turning space is proving an advantage.

The engine is a Cummins QSB 6.7, with a power of 122kW providing 165hp (2,300rpm).
