Recession-busting pledge on Gas Data servicing

Coventry-based engineering firm Gas Data has pledged to service any of its models, however old, as part of a bid to keep down customers’ costs during the recession.

Gas Data designs and manufactures portable and fixed gas analysis instrumentation for a wide range of applications including anaerobic digester plants, renewable power stations and landfill management.

Managing director Chris Dakin says: “Our instruments are built to last, and with annual servicing they will continue to provide accurate readings for many years.

“Some businesses are suffering the effects of the downturn in the economy, and the last thing they need is to buy a new model because the parts are obsolete or the servicing is no longer supported.”
