Making bins last longer

Container repair and refurbishment company UK Container Maintenance (UKCM) has secured a two-year contract with Yorkshire-based public sector procurement organisation YPO.

The contract will ensure that businesses within the framework can utilise UKCM’s waste container refurbishment service, and help them give longevity to their current stock which will save money in the long run.

Emma Elston, co-director of UKCM, said: “During the past five years, we have helped save local authorities and waste companies more than £50m by simply refurbishing otherwise redundant containers and making them like new again.”
