Plant gets upgrade

Kiverco plant 2000

London-based J O’Doherty Haulage, which provides waste services to the building and construction industry, has invested in a new plant by Kiverco.

O’Doherty’s investment is aimed at giving it more throughput and cleaner products, to give it better prices for commodities. The Kiverco plant and baler enables the business to take in ex-transfer station waste for the production of refus-derived fuel as well as unprocessed waste.

Operations manager Kieran O’Doherty said: “During the early days of production, we worked with Kiverco to maximise the tonnage of the plant and maintain a high efficiency level. We have found the Kiverco aftersales service among the best we have come across.

“We regularly receive site visits by the Kiverco members of staff to ensure tthat no issues have arisen.”
