The new-generation Flake Purifier+ automatic sorting system for PET flake recycling, now with complete sorting stations, from Sesotec.
How does it help?
Customers are looking for a highly functional and profitable solution for PET flake recycling and wish to have all the components – from air separator through to sorting machine – from one source.
Where would it ideally be used?
PET and HDPE recyclers use our equipment.
How is it different?
Sesotec’s multi-sensor sorting systems work with colour, material, metal and shape identification and separation in combination with steel platforms, handling equipment and an electronic control. All the components are supplied from one source.
What benefits does it offer?
Increased efficiency of the sorting recycling process, fewer interfaces and contact people, as well as uniform operation of all the line components. The mechanical sorting is perfectly matched to the sensor sorting system.
Depending on sensor configuration and additional equipment, the costs for the Flake Purifier+ are £184,360-£460,130.
It features optimised material infeeding for a more evenly distributed material flow and increased material throughput, achieved by improvements to the Flake Purifier+ itself.
What about maintenance?
Sesotec’s sorting systems are characterised by low maintenance and energy costs. Maintenance can be done on-site by trained staff.
What is its life span?
These high-quality sorting systems are in operation for at least 10 years.
How is it future-proofed?
Sensor and software upgrades are available, and we plan to apply the technology to mixed plastics recycling.
How many have you sold and where?
Currently, we have eight orders for Flake Purifier+ sorters and sorting stations worldwide. More than 100 installations of the previous version of Flake Purifier+ were sold around the globe.
All our multi-sensor sorting systems and the Flake Purifier+ are available with all sensor combinations and in various working widths.
