Protecting vulnerable road users

dennis eagle

Dennis Eagle’s latest skip-loader forms part of its Urban Safety Vehicle range, which is aimed at the construction market and was developed in conjunction with the Construction Logistics and Cyclist Safety programme.

The range also includes a tipper vehicle featuring an Elite 6 8x4 chassis, and there are plans to introduce a variety of other body options.

Vehicles in the Urban Safety range are fitted with a number of technologies designed to protect vulnerable road users. These include Dawes Highway Safety’s DawesGuard (see page 49), which bridges the gap between vehicle and road surface, and a four-way CCTV camera system with Cyclear warning display system from Innovative Safety Systems.
