Quarry throughput boost

Barnsley, South Yorkshire-based Cat Plant has taken delivery of two Terex Finlay machines.

Supplied by Finlay Plant Northern, Cat has purchased a 693+ Supertrak and a 694+ Supertrak.

Now working in conjunction with a crusher, both are screening products in a one path formation and delivering efficiencies. Cat Plant operates from a 136-acre limestone quarry site, offering plant hire and demolition services as well as running an active landfill and supplying various aggregate products.

The Terex Finlay 694+ Supertrak is screening products at 75mm clean and 40mm, while the undersize is fed to the 693+ Supertrak. The latter is then producing 20mm, 10mm, 6mm down to dust. Both machines are producing up to 900 tonnes a day.
