Recycled content consoles launched for offices

Luton-based Cawleys has launched a range of office recycling consoles, made from 100% recycled content collected from customers under the company’s Infinity  programme.

Cawleys conducted a survey during Green Office Week which found that just a third of workers are making an effort to recycle things properly where they work.

In partnership with Flute Office Systems, which makes the containers, Cawleys is aiming to make the connection between waste, recycling and reuse more visible in the workplace.

Using the cellulose from materials such as paper, card or textiles, Flute transforms one tonne of waste into 120 recycling consoles. Cawleys has also pioneered a range of office furniture, including desks, shelves, carpets and blinds, made from 100% recycled content.
