Remanufactured body

Ahern Waste Management operates a fleet of 50 trade waste collection vehicles catering for companies in south Essex and east London.

As part of its fleet replacement programme and continuing expansion, the company is having one of its 2004 Heil Powerlink body with UTL Trade bin lift remanufactured and mounted on a new Mercedes Antos chassis.

The work was carried out by Gloucestershire-based vehicle supplier Refuse Vehicle Solutions (RVS).

Tony Anderson, Ahern resources co-ordinator, said: “This is the first time we’ve had a Mercedes chassis, and the body has been so well remanufactured you can’t tell it apart from a new vehicle.”

RVS also provides support services such as short to medium term vehicle hire, contract hire, parts, repairs and maintenance.
