Skiploader navigates through narrow streets

Multilift futura 8

Hiab is launching the Multilift Futura 8 skiploader that is ideal for use within confined city streets.

Hans Ekman, head of sales, demountables, said: “This is a skiploader designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern skiphandling. It can be navigated through narrow city streets with ease. For an eight-tonne skiploader, we are confident it will deliver new levels of productivity.”

The smaller-sized skiploader can be carried easily on a smaller truck. The redesigned lightweight steel construction gives more payload without compromising strength, meaning that customers can haul more while saving fuel.

A modular system of control options gives flexibility.

“Retrofitting is made easy according to changing needs,” adds Ekman. “You will pay only for what you need and when you need it, be it in-cab, radio remote or outside control, or a customised combination of these.”

The Multilift Futura 8 adds several safety innovations such as hydraulic side stops, hydraulic container lock and safety interlocks, boosting safety for both the operator and people nearby.
