County Tyrone-based CRS NI, which designs and manufactures MRFs, has purchased a Haas Tyron 2000XL slow-speed shredder from Trade Balers Recycling Machinery.
CRS NI managing director Sean Conlon said: “I had been hearing more and more about the Haas shredder, and decided to go and see it perform when it was in Ireland recently on demonstrations. Straight away I knew there would be a hire market for the machine, due to its high adaptability.”
Trade Balers managing director Marty Morris added: “This is the second sale in Ireland for the Haas range, adding to the Tyron 1500 shredder and full hammer mill installation at RTD Crawford.”
The 2000XL is a slow-speed shredder, designed for a variety of waste streams. It differentiates itself from other shredders mainly due to its independent shaft drive mechanism. Each shaft is driven by a separate hydraulic motor with a separate hydraulic gear box.
