Soil screen capacity boost

Terex Finlay 883+ Spaleck 2000

Civil engineering company Ashcourt Group has ramped up its production process after taking delivery of a high-tech screener from Finlay Plant Northern.

The company brought in the Terex Finlay 883+ Spaleck to tackle soil being delivered to its site in Hull (above). The company says the machine will boost capacity by creating the ability to process material all year round.

It features a Spaleck heavy-duty vibrating screen which optimises productivity of moisture-high materials even in damp climates.

Paul Dobson, site manager at Ashcourt, said: “Although we are using exactly the same process as before, we are producing a far better quality of soil, both for the market and for use on our own projects, since the 883+ Spaleck arrived.
