Telehandler used in building projects

Leeds-based C&AJ Marshall Builders has purchased a compact Bobcat TL30.60 telehandler for housebuilding projects, to carry out lifting and loading work and for handling recycled construction, demolition and excavation materials to be reused on-site.

Debris from demolished properties is sorted and fed by the TL30.60 into a compact crusher screen, from where it is stockpiled by the telehandler for reuse. The TL30.60 combines this with other work such as the unloading and moving of pallets of building products from trucks visiting the sites.

Powered by a Bobcat D34 Stage IV engine with an output of 74.5kW (100hp), the TL30.60 offers a maximum travel speed of 40km/h. The engine has electronic fuel injection, turbo- charged air management and cooled exhaust gas recirculation for lower emissions.

The TL30.60 provides a maximum lifting capacity of three tonnes, a maximum lift height on its 24in tyres of 5.9m and a maximum horizontal reach of more than 3m.
