Red Rhino Crushers has expanded its range to include a three-way screener, which can be used for applications such as screening topsoil, sand, crushed rock, bricks, waste concrete, glass and asphalt.
The design includes an integral hopper and feed impact plate which allows the plant to be fed by excavator or directly from a crusher to produce three product sizes. The impact plate spreads the material across the top deck to optimise screening efficiency.
The screen’s top deck of the screen is 2.4m wide x 1m long, with any oversize rejected to a stockpiling conveyor. Material which is smaller passes to the 1.9m long x 1m-wide bottom deck for further screening.
Mid-size product is discharged to a stockpiling conveyor while fines pass through the bottom deck on to a collecting conveyor to prevent any build-up before discharging on the stockpile conveyor.
The plant produces three stockpiles each 1m high, making it ideal for small or medium-sized contracts.
The equipment can be transported on a small plant trailer as it weighs only 2.8 tonnes, and has compact dimensions for small sites.
A Kubota 18.5kW diesel engine, which is EU Stage IIIB and US EPA Tier 4 emission compliant, powers the set-up.
