Tippers cut downtime

William Tracey Group has expanded its land remediation capability with the purchase of four low-emission tipper vehicles.

The low-maintenance vehicles will reduce downtime resulting from mechanical failure, improve fleet efficiency, cut costs and increase service levels.

The eight-wheeled vehicles are manufactured with aluminium alloy bodies to reduce the unladen weight, allowing them to transport an additional tonne or more in each load.

Their Euro 6 engines are designed to use Addblue, a post-combustion treatment for diesel vehicles, which allows them to cut nitrogen oxide emissions.
