Trailers keep polyurethane clean

2000 ryder environcom

WEEE reuse and recycler Environcom has taken on its first Montracon tipper and a BMI moving floor trailer from its fleet provider Ryder as it expands its operation.

Ryder added a Daf CF460 6x2 tractor with AS Tronic transmission, Space Cab and dual-control power take off (PTO).

Carl Sylvester, general manager of Environcom’s Grantham site, said: “After gaining an environmentally friendly way to dispose of polyurethane that would normally be landfilled, we needed to ensure this product arrived at our customer’s premises totally free of any contamination.

“These trailers give us total control of delivering our own product, achieving our target 95% utilisation.”

The trailers feature electrically operated sheeting: “We specified these for health and safety reasons so the driver doesn’t need to climb up to operate the sheets manually.”
