Trucks access tight spaces

Max Recycle, a business waste management and recycling company with a local operating base in Kendal, is expanding its existing operations throughout the southern Lake District.

The company has bought a new fleet of low-emission Euro 6-compliant trucks (above) that give ease of access in restricted locations around small towns and villages and on rural roads.

Patrick Roche, operations director, said: “The trucks are not only comfortable for drivers and operators, and compact in size compared with conventional waste trucks, but they have got very low carbon emissions, which boosts our environmental [credentials]. They are probably the most efficient fleet of waste collection trucks in the business.”
