Boughton Engineering has formed a strategic partnership with McNeilus, the US-based specialist body manufacturer, to sell, mount and finish its front end loader (FEL) range for the UK market early next year. Boughton will also provide support for parts and service.
Managing director Richard Skan said: “The FEL product has strong synergy and perfect strategic fit with our established waste handling products, and will enable our companies to support customers with a significantly stronger offering.”
The Atlantic series FEL is designed to maximise efficiency, with a fast pack cycle that keeps the 9.17cu m hopper clear at all times, saving time on densely populated routes.
A compaction force of 118,800psi crushes almost any type of refuse, while the 10,000lb-rated arm capacity does all the heavy lifting.
McNeilus’s Excalibre cylinders feature a hardened tool steel scraper that drastically reduces hydraulic contamination.
