Veolia takes first robots

Veolia is taking delivery of a Zen- Robotics Recycler (ZRR) sorting system, the first of its kind in France.

Timo Taalas, ZenRobotics chief executive, said: “Robotic waste sorting is transforming the industry. We are pleased to see that one of the largest companies in waste management has chosen our technology.”

The ZRR sorts out valuable raw materials from mixed waste with robots and intelligent machine learning. It has a unique recognition capability and can sort multiple fractions simultaneously in one spot.
